Technical Manager – Live and Virtual Events Job at aps Events and Media – Manchester
We have a vacancy for an experienced Technical Manager to join one of our busy project teams, to support and guide them with the technical and AV elements of their events, and where the project requires it, manage technical delivery of the project.
This typically involves liaising with the Project Managers or directly with the client, translating technical terms so they are easily understood, conducting site visits and producing floor plans and technical specs, negotiating with suppliers, right through to the delivery of virtual and live events which will vary in scale and complexity.
You will have a strong technical and audio visual background with experience of delivering live and virtual events, and will also be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills between colleagues and clients alike.
International travel will be required for this role and flexibility is crucial due to the locations of our clients and their events.
