For businesses, 9am is an easy way to manage their freelancer network and talent providers, and centrally organize their legal, compliance, and financial issues when working with freelancers.

Are you a manager or team lead in a recruitment agency? Would you would like to get out of the agency world and into an established startup, yet still work with different clients and make commissions in a sales role?

Lead and grow a team of Account Managers who function as recruitment consultants to match startups and large corporate companies with our tech talent freelancer community. You will be a sales coach, trainer and motivator to help the team succeed and take them to the next level with your leadership skills and sales experience. We’re looking for someone who has experience working as a recruitment consultant in a recruitment agency including at least a couple of years of leadership experience of a recruitment or sales team.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage a sales team of Account Managers to meet monthly goals: activity metrics, forecasted opportunities and revenue targets
  • Development of the team (coaching, training, 1 to 1’s, setting targets, on-boarding, team engagement)
  • Build confidence and trust with the team and provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain open and transparent communication
  • Assist in deal negotiations and with client meetings when needed
  • Drive the scaling of the team and the further growth, automation and optimization
  • Lead strategically: you have a proven track record of identifying issues and providing solutions
  • Create structure: you enjoy and embrace working in a startup environment while bringing process and structure as we grow

What we’re looking for

  • Experience leading a sales / recruitment team of 5-10 people
  • Experience working as a recruitment consultant in an agency
  • Solid consultative sales skills and ability to teach and mentor sales strategies
  • Well-versed in inbound sales, outbound sales, lead nurturing, and pipeline management
  • Solid sales coaching and collaboration skills and able to navigate change while driving strong sales performance
  • Highly organized and effective at keeping a team on track and accountable
  • A leadership style that embodies our core values of Find solutions, take action, Try, fail, learn, Strive for excellence, Support others, Be good, Be transparent
  • Initiative and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Fluent English. German is an advantage but not required
  • Clear and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Great if you have: previous experience working in a startup / fast growing company
