People/Culture Specialist (FT) Job at Outgive – Markham, ON
We are looking for a People and Culture Specialist to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for assisting and supporting leaders in supervising the performance of the People and Culture team; collaborating in assessing performance, providing feedback, and development and coaching to build employee capability as well as harmonious and productive working environment.
Plan, organize and implement sustainable staffing strategy
Oversee all staffing needs and operation of the company
Support candidate screening and hiring processes
Facilitate procedures after hiring regarding employee relocation, legal documents etc.
Ensure staffing decision comply with company policies and regulatory standards
Assist in preparation and execution of orientation and training plans
Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation
Evaluate new staff
Create and present and submit reports for upper management
Track attendance and onboarding training of new hires
Support leaders with staffing and performance discussions, including investigations, leaves of absences, terminations, resignations, and promotions
Is it remote and what are the hours like?
Remote work available for this position. We offer flexible hours to accommodate your lifestyle. When required in office, our location is 7676 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON, L3R 2N2.
What’s the pay?
Starting at $28.00/hour with a big emphasis on “starting”! We’re hoping to continuously grow your skills, this role and the salary that comes with it! This is a full time role with benefits.

Here are some general guidelines of what we are looking for:
Knowledge of staffing trends, staffing policies and best practices
Proven experience as staffing coordinator or similar position
Experience in planning and execution of HR plans (onboarding, hiring etc.)
Undergraduate degree, with a focus on human resources, business administration or relevant field
Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (equal employment opportunity, relocation, visa procedures etc.)
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind
Reliable with a respect to confidentiality
